We bring together MOSA* practitioners for defense innovation to foster professional development, collaboration, and empower transformative adoption of MOSA principles into defense programs so that we can win in a complex world where speed of innovation is the singular most important defense capability.

*Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) is an integrated technical and business strategy for managing and sustaining complex systems and fleets of systems by using modular and open principles. Applying MOSA at the enterprise level fosters collaboration across defense Program Managers (PM) along with industry innovators (such at through Consortia) to foster enterprise-wide objectives including speed to fielding with more easily adaptable, replaceable, upgradeable, and interoperable components. MOSA is a Title 10 legal requirement on all defense weapon systems.
We are currently exploring membership collaboration features as part of our design for this new community that will bring together several disparate subgroups for active cross-collaboration. If you are interested in being part of the early access Alpha design group, reach out to John Stough (linkedin.com/in/exocubic) directly. We are also gathering MOSA Success Stories to be used in exploring outreach, partnerships, content development, and advocacy.
Features we are exploring include:
- Class & Lab online practitioner courses on MOSA fundamentals
- Member community challenges for defense collaboration issues
- Shared Demo / Expo planning and coordination tools (CI/CD)
- Model / Digital Twin repository
- Success story publication tools / AI-powered white paper generator (based on MARC, the MOSA Assistant for Research Collaboration – note that this is just the pre-release Alpha test version of MARC and a non-public version is under development with new training materials)
